only got one ride in this year due to a broken leg and the conditions were less than ideal last weekend. but as was the case the year prior i have absolutely no bottom end on this thing. i have tried different springs and messed with the fuel box till i was blue in the face and turned fuel pressure down to the point where i couldnt get enough fuel to get right a/f ratio at the top end with all settings maxed. it pulls like a SOB once it gets going but is it just a lack of torque with the 700? its got new fuel filter sent all injectors to witch hunter to be cleaned and tested and running a low compression head. would like to know if going 2871 or maybe 76 might hurt or help. i have been avoiding going to super light springs to use super light weights because i like the way the thing tractors up the hill with all that weight in the clutch. i like to boondock a little and right now its pretty much a point and shoot only sled unless your on and off the throttle with plenty of speed. its not bad only when right around engagement

Im pretty much in the same boat. I have no bottom end at all but it rips once you get goin. Ive been all over the place with the numbers to. I did the fuel filter and everything to. Hopefully someone has some input on the 700's.

we have spent a couple weekends, JUST playing around, and I can tell you this is for sure.... my sled didnt come to life completely, until we went to a light set up. We went lighter and lighter until, ultimately the top end fell off and then went back the other way.

Something interesting happened, the lighter we got the more fuel we had to add on the bottom end... does that tell you something?

i was running orange spring with 68g weights in tog last year. this year i messed with the pink team spring for a bit but the engagement was too high for my liking. i only got one crummy ride in this year but i actually went to the stock spring and rode my first day in the hills with 76g weights and was pulling 7900.... however as the day wore on it went down and put in 72's the next day and back to 7900. mind sharing your secret with me? i got room in my PM box :D

i got the helix that comes with silbers kit... not quite sure what it is right now. i meant to look at it when i had it off to get back to outlaw since i was putting it all together to go on a trip when i got his pm about helix but i forgot to look at it. if it werent muddy out right now i would run out to my trailer and look quick. i might still in a bit. i know i changed the spring too when i got the helix from him... no idea what that is either ha. been 2 seasons since i put it in and hardly got to do anything since but change fuel box settings and weights and primary springs

check your helix... its just pulling the belt and the clutch, it should say right on the back. you might be able to see it lookign at the back too. I would guess its a 44/48, knowing Justins set ups...

I'm running the orange spring and 70g weights. It pulled 8200 or so rpms. My helix is the one that came in the boon docker kit and it has the black and orange spring in the secondary.

U probably have ur helix set in wrong spot, put it in the lowest position and that should give u better lowend
