any one know why.

Just when we find someone fun to mess with. Good thing I got in before this place went oboma style and started restricting free speech.

I gotta give him cred for the drive and passion though.

Not restricting free speech... When you post racist comments you get shown the door, this place has rules... Thats what people dont get.... When you signed up for the site you agreed to abide by the rules... If you don't like the rules and can't follow them then the only option for you is to find somewhere else to post... You might have the right to say that bull-crap on your own time in your own life, but ITS NOT your right to post it here on this venue that specifically states they do not condone it. Im just as much for free speech as the next guy, but there is a difference between free speech and ignorance.

I would agree 100% regarding non-paying members.

I have not ever, nor will I ever complain about this becoming a pay site. I understand that.

However I do disagree with amateur keyboard jockey moderators having the ability to make judgment calls censoring what they may deem offensive. Particularly regarding users who have paid their share to cover the operating costs of this site.

My rationale: similar to TV
Broadcast networks have different rules to abide by than do cable networks.
People are free to place anyone they find offensive on their ignore list, essentially "banning" them from their computer. This is very sufficient.

Well if he did that, then I agree with you. Is that what he did?

But I have had my comments edited that where not bad. I have seen some of his stuff edited that I don't think necessary. But I agree, you have to follow the rules and use very little sense and usually your fine.

I disagree with many of the posts on here.
Some are so stupid that they even p i s s me off (Ruffy:face-icon-small-ton)

But that controversy is one of the attractions to this circus.

I didn't agree with a lot of SRM's posts, but he kept things interesting.

This place kinda gets to be a lot like a high school clique.
Sometimes the clique picks a target & the rest of us can see they will not stop until they have achieved what they set out to do.

I do miss SRM and welcome to the real world.:face-icon-small-dis

You're a good kid Mitten!

You see things with clarity & objectivity that many of your elders simply do not have.

I hope you always stick around!

And oh yea, your flying kitten poptart rainbows rock!

They will never get me, lol.

I wonder if tbats why alot of people went to a different forum

well he posted a derogatory term used for people who have a dark complection. He used this term to describe someone who stole fuel outta a guy's car. I personally think that alone is worth a perma ban.

Not to mention his numerous attacks on the moderators of this forum. I used to be a moderator on a forum I frequented before this and if anyone said anything about the moderation it was an infraction(and 4infractions earned a week long ban)

SRM does bring a lot of posting to Fouled Plug, I will give him that.

One thing a lot of you guys don't realize is the amount of comments that we receive in the Moderator's forum. In this case, the amount of people that have asked us why he has not been banned permanently for many of the things he has posted this winter. I can also assure you that it is WAY more than just 2 or 3 moderators discussing how much flexibility to give and how to react when rules have been broken.

Chances are that if you think something is ok to post, then have at it... the GRAND majority of posts are never touched, but this place does have rules.
