Gentlemen ! After being on a cat for 31 years I now ride a pro
I really want to go for my first but can't till the 23rd so anyone have pictures or comments on their first ride .

Rode my sks 2.6 all I can say is wow. instant throttle response pulls hard and only have 1.2 hrs on it. can't wait to have break in done riding around home we got over a foot here so some good snow in the ditches going to try to get the rest of the break in time done tomorrow.

Instantaneous lift. :)

Got our first snow of 18" yesterday here in SD, so took out my Axys for a first ride today. Want to have it broke in before heading west, so just ditch riding and fields so can't talk to mountain performance (which is where it will shine) But coming off a great running 13 Pro the first thing I noticed as many have mentioned is the amazing throttle response! This thing pulls very hard and it's still in breakin mode, ended today at 2.2 hours so going out tomorrow to get through initial breakin. Can't wait to see if it has even more after that.

So I just back from my first ride on my 16' Axys 155x3". Just like everyone else has stated, the throttle response is AMAZING! The throttle pull is so light and easy which I know sounds trivial but it really does make a difference to the feel of the sled. It definitely has more power than a pro. I was riding at ~2000ft and I had it clutched with 74g MTX weights and a Team Lime Green Spring (150/340) and it would tach out at 8400rpm-8500rpm! And it would hold RPM great! The overall feel of the chassis feels more like a refined pro. The suspension felt nice and the steering effort has a noticeable lighter feel than a pro which is always nice. After bouncing off it and onto a pro, thats when all the little and big differences in the chassis and motor shine. It truly makes a pro feel like an old boat lol Everyone that hoped on it came back with the same response!

Only one issue was the sway bar bushing mount came loose on the right hand side of the bulkhead and lost the bushing and mount, otherwise it ripped. ~140 miles in two days.

I have around 280 miles on mine. About 7 good rides in mostly awesome snow.

155" 2.6 800

The good:
Love the new motor and throttle feel
Plastics are so easy on and off, great design
New track works great, better after some miles on it
Makes the old pro feel heavy
Pops out of the snow really well and does not carry snow like the old pro chassis
The new LED headlight rocks, so bright!
Still learning how to ride through the trees while wheeling everywhere ha ha

The bad:
Not sure if it's just bad luck or not knowing how to ride but I have definitely went through a few sets of a-arms. 1 that I broke I was by myself but the other 2 bent with lots of witnesses and everyone was shocked at how easily they bent.
I have a lot less confidence or should I say control when I'm carving through the trees. I rode the pro chassis for 4 years and knew exactly how it was going to react in every possible situation so this could have to do with my limited amount of seat time.
Belt life seems to be an issue as well. Stock belt only lasted 180 miles so I suspect that a little bit of clutching and gearing could go a long way.

Overall I'm quite happy with this sled so far. Like any first year sled it was bound to have a couple issues but they all seem quite minor and easily fixable. One thing I did that helped a lot was cranking up the pressure on my front shocks as it feels way too tippy otherwise.

imagine that snow condition is whats eating belts (must be pinned everywhere you go)....you guys are killing me with all this snow...send some east please.
