I am considering becoming a sled deck dealer and am trying to gauge interest. I have a business in Emigrant, MT and feel this might make a perfect location for a dealership. Emigrant is the little town at the flashing light in between Livingston and Gardiner. It is on the road to Cooke, so anybody making a trip to Cooke could pick up there deck on the way down or on the way home. It is also only an hour from Bozeman and two hours from Billings.
My family and I have owned a business in Emigrant for 23 years now, so it would not be a fly by night operation. I have a nice, large shop where I could do the install for anyone that so desires. I also have a large storage shed where I can store them inside, out of the weather. I already have the trailer I would need to haul them and the fork lift I would need to unload and install them.
The two manufactures I have contacted both expressed interest in adding me as a dealer. Before I get too serious I want to make sure I am not wasting their time or my own. I would like input and comments before I take the plunge. Thanks.
