Any Interest In A Forum Ride?

I can start a poll no problem, all we need are a few places to put on the poll.Up to now all we have is Revy and Trout Lake, any other suggestions?

tons of good riding in kaslo, no groomys though!!!!! so leave your purse at home lol. cheap places to stay in the winter too....there is no sled scene there!!!! definitly a hidden gem.....lips have to be sealed once you leave though!!!!!

This is a GREAT idea and I am not surprised that REVY came up as the place to go.But I think that Sea to Sky country would be my first choice. There are numerous hills to ride there all within 5-40 mins of Squamish. BrohmRidge, Brandywine,Rutherford,Callaghan(not the olympic portion) and those are just the popular areas. I lived there for a while and know many locals that have back ways in and secret spots to these popular rides...plus we could have a catered event at the chalet on Brohm Ridge...maybe even through in an Avy course. Plus there is the night life in Whistler. I live in Prince George now and ther is not much around here unless you want to drive 1.5-2 hrs everyday.

I agree with the last post. Revy is good, but if you want to see the big hills there's nothing like the Pemberton Ice fields. Rutherford Creek just south of Pemberton is an easy way into the ice fields for a large group of all riders. But there is alot of area's you could ride in that part of the country. Brohm Ridge is nice but not as big of an area. There's a few places just out of Squamish that are excellent as well. I also agree that it would also be nice to see a new area.

I would love to ride the ice fields or even the coast mountains. I can only speak for myself but I'm sure all of us flatlanders would agree........to drive that far is a little much. It's 14hrs just to Revy from where I live and that is about the limit for me and the guys I ride with.

I think it's gotta be somewhere in the interior of BC so people can come from all directions and its close to the same distance for everyone. But I will ride the coast one day!!!!

I understand, but the xtra 8-10 hr drive would be worth it !!!! Make it a holiday and take a week off.I will if you will. It is 8-10 hrs for me no matter where we choose to go and I have sledded both areas...just prefer the coast by a long shot. No matter where the ride is...I'm in !!!!

If you come out to the ice fields, nothing you ride after that will compare. You have to come out and see it to believe it. There are some big, wide open hill to climb that do not end. The first time I was taken to the ice field it was explained to me like this. You can pin your sled and will not have to let off the throttle, until it blows up or you run out of gas. It will impress anyone that comes to see it, at least once.
