Mine went down today about 150 miles on it! Ride from 6500 to 12000 ft! 08 Dragon so bummed and tired just want to ride, when it runs it is such a fun sled to ride but man am I tired of this!!!!!

i have been running the slp pciii map and it runs remarkbly better than the stock map. I have not found any lean areas yet.
I guess do you think that this would solve my problems. Would I still be able to use my mbrp can or would i need to use slp??
Is your sled updated?
Has anyone been checking their plugs? How about pics of plugs and piston wash?

I am in the same boat you are in. My Assault ran great before the updates and now it runs like crap. I am so frustrated with this thing. I am experiencing all the things you listed. It wont idle or reverse. It pulls low rpms and just feels like a dog. I had mine flashed a second time and it didnt help. I would really like this sled running right.
take it to a good dealer..ask them to check/set the tps with a fluke multimeter instead of digital wrench(digital wrench isnt acurite enough)..then put digital wrench on it and check every sensor for acuracy and response..especially the egt and air temp sensor..hope that helps...and check the ohms reading on the voltage regulator as well as the standard test..if it still runs crappy..find someone with at least a decent running one to swap ecms just to see if that fixes it...
My Uncle blew his yesterday, 3rd time. Its an 09 800 Dragon with 760 miles, lost it twice with the 09 crap and then again with the "new" update. The update kit got a whopping 76 miles on it before destructing and it was a noticeable power loss over last year when it was running. He tried to trade it in on a 2009 or 2010 M8 after getting the updates but the cat dealer wouldnt touch it as a trade, Ski-doo said the same thing. Really like the way they feel to ride but this is getting carried away! I feel bad for the dealers who get yelled at everyday because the product they get supplied with is inadequate.
Yes I have been checking the plugs and they look pretty good. They are a good golden crisp color.
Just to let you all know I talked to polaris they are aware of these problems and they will have a fix out within a week.. I guess its another fuel mapping fix
Robert, please tell me they tried to sell you a bridge as well. Polaris has been aware of there problems since the old 800 twins were taking out crank bearings and the only fix ever really offered that worked was from aftermarket companys that YOU payed for!
They will be saying this all winter then when snow check time comes they will have all the answers then next year same crap! Enough is enough already.

I got it looked at today. It turned our to be the stator. I hope that fixes the problem. Thanks for the advice.
