How is April 25th looking for everybody?? Anybody got any good ideas? What do you think of side by side double elimination. NO STOP WATCHES! maybe a hillcross mixed in the same day. Sounds like FUN!!
Something needs to change at Anthony it is getting smaller every year. It would be great to see it getting bigger so we can keep having it. Lets hear what every one would like to see to get everyone coming again, Maybe just going back to lower entry fees and trophies would be the thing to do.
I would like to see them shorten the course so it starts just above the base of the lift so that you can see the whole race and have a decent staging area. I also think that the course needs tightened up quite a bit when every sled in every class makes it over the top it is not nearly challenging enough. I would also like to see some timing lights that would be awesome and maybe we could get enough people to donate to a pool or donate there winnings back to help pay for them a wireless setup is $1600. I would defiantly be willing to help out some.
I really liked the way the Climb was set up at Loup Loup up in Omak, WA.
Everyone pays a small gate fee to get into the Ski Area which would go directly to the Ski Area this way we could use more of the entry fees to pay directly back to the riders. Every sled entering this event will have a permanently mounted tether switch that will be attached to the driver anytime the sled is running. Full face helmets with eye protection and boots are mandatory safety equipment for drivers. Chest protectors, shin guards, gloves, elbow pads are recommended. Sleds entered in this event will have no traction added to the track. All sleds will have hoods, ski brakes and snow flaps. 1 qualifying run per class top 5 times run a second time with a cash pay out 1st-3rd. At the end of the day all the 1st place finishers run for the King of the hill title.

Side by side Double elimination sounds fun and so does a hillcross if enough people would be interested or we could possibly be the following day.
What would every one think about doing a drag race the Day the ski resort closes, afterwards everybody could race to be the first to the top when the lift shuts down.
The only way to follow rules this tight would be to have a more tech!! this would include teching of the first three places at the end of the event. MORE VOLUNTEERS!!! would be needed.
If these are the rules keep it posted so everyone can follow the same set.
