Another updated clutch bolt for the 9r / Boost Service Bulletin S-24-04

I have done all the recalls on mine, but never had a single issue with my 23 9R. This doesn't really bother me. I have 980 miles on this sled and it's the only sled I've ever bought that I've kept perfectly stock. I love the sled. The dealer here in Reno does a great job of taking care of us.

No problems here, with a 9RC.........LOL

I have a 22 boost and I don't remember any clutch bolt recalls for it at all.
But then again there have been so many they all blur together at this point.
I suppose it's possible it was done while it was at the dealer for something else, and they just didn't mention it.

That is really abnormal I guess anything can break as far as I know Polaris has never issued stop ride updates for the P-85 bolts.
Not sure exactly what parts were replaced, but my wife's p85 on her 2023 850 was also part of a clutch recall last year.

It's certainly a bad sign when there have been enough recalls to get confusing! When I got the most recent email I first assumed it was an old recall that had been done but not logged into the system.
I lost count a dozen ago. My wife just laughs when the Polaris recall envelopes show up in the mail. It's been a steady stream since 2022.

First one she told me I shouldn't ride the sled, now she says do you even need this or should I throw it away?

Dealer today said his rep mentioned they had a batch of bad bolts go through the line but they can pinpoint the start and end of the batch. Cheapest problem solve is to replace a wider range of them.
Is that why I'm going on my third bolt? Just a bad batch?

Talk about some BS marketing speak.

It's more than the bolt... the bolt is a band aid for larger problems.

hit the nail on the head there!!!! Polaris is trying to anchor the clutch to the motor with parts that can move!!! the clutch bolt goes into a cover sleeve that slides into the fixes sheave mounted to the motor, now comes the issue the sleeve bottom out on the Alum Spider, NOT to the Fixed sheave that mounts to the motor!!!! can not mount to the spider it goes back and fourth up and down!!! design flaw from day one!!!
