I don't see the phone problem as such a big deal. They manage to call me (maybe once a month!) to make sure I know that they have no idea when they'll send me my money back! Usually the phone call comes after they get lit up here on the forum.
Wade, I will LMFAO if TM2 uses one of the above excuses next time they call me!

Talk about listing crap for sell that you don't have!

I was a dealer and all of the companies we used would always have back ordered products. Customers would come in and want to order things from the catalogs and some times it would be on back order. So we would find it else where or maybe not at all. But I never took thier money and told them I could get it when I knew there was a chance I couldn't.

What a bunch of crap! Then to not give them an instant refund. Bottom Line is BAD BUSINESS!!!


You have to watch for stuff like this, these dealer often have an amount they have to guarantee the company they will spend each year. If they don't they loose the right to sell that companies products.

There for, they list products from the cataloge that they don't have in thier store, hoping to meet thier yearly quota with the company. By doing this the dealer has no cost to him for buying and shelfing the a product that he/she may not be able to sell.

So when you order from them, they make your order to the company. It is at that time they find out if the item is able to be shipped or if it is back ordered. So you are waiting for shipping twice. And taking a chance of the item being back ordered.

I am seeing this alot on Ebay. And now here!

Hey Brian your helmet is on the way there was a screw up at the factory and their first shipment if Klim F4's in Flat black came in shiny so your getting the shiny one....Sorry bout that but i could be months before we see the flat black if at all. It's being drop shipped today you should have it by Friday. Oh and THEY ARE NOT BACKORDED!!! Big freakin shocker huh?

Ordered a Klim f4 helmet in Febuary paid for it no helmet by the end of Febuary did get them on the phone he said they were back ordered and would be in March 27th that date has come and gone now he won't return emails or phone calls. Saddly I guess I'm just another victim of a dishonest retailer. Buyer beware I guess.

What helmet do you need? It is true some of the Klim stuff isn't to be expected until Aug. Some of the new limited edition helmets should be arriving shortly if they haven't already. You can PM me if you need help.

yeah, not all dealers are equal either...I am reminded of a certain dealer in Bozeman...

and not all can be like Michelle....

but I think his intent was buy from people you know, with a good reputation...

For instance....SnowJW, would NOT hesitate buying from him at all, as I know him, and he does a very similar thing to what the otehr guy did/does...and yet he does it with an incredible job of serving his customers!!!

Thats for sure! Most of the Bozeman dealers are terrible and with the amount of money I'm spending on parts/gear, I want treated with some respect and know that when I go home, I was sold the right part and not over retail prices.

SnowJW is the man around here when it comes to sled stuff. Team2 could learn a thing or two from Justin.

Very true allot of the problems with our local shops is they just don't care anymore to many rich folk for them to suck dry and they don't carry any parts anymore or you ask them about a Timbersled or aftermarket part and you get the "deer in the headlights look" and we all know how frustrating this can be but it is sad Team 2 has good prices but there is no way I or any other dealer could match all his prices and stay in this Biz for the long haul. I had allot of guys price stuff through me and went to Team only to come back asking me if this or that was relay on back order or they just needed the part ASAP because they never got there stuff and they had a trip planned for Canada or something along those lines.

I hope this does not scare away good people that want to order up from SW dealers or online dealers allot of great dealers on here First Place Parts, Free Agent, F-Bomb, oregon800polaris, and so many more I have not listed.

Keep the post clean and the admin will not lock it I hope.
