Another heat option

I recently purchased a mr. Heater hero cordless 60,000btu forced air heater. It's been 10-20 degrees where I live for weeks and it'll hear my 3 car garage 20 degrees in 15min, I of course crack the door for ventilation. I'm going to try it out in my 4 place enclosed with vents open and man door, should keep it nice and toasty.

I equipped my trailer with a corn burning stove, and I pull my trailer with our grain truck filled with corn so we can run the stove as much as desired.

I think if we would enclose the trailer it will stay warm enough to thaw out the sleds, but for now it's just an open trailer.

Very funny! I was just trying to point out the heater I bought should work out well for portable heat source in an enclosed trailer or wherever else you might want to use it.

I have the same heater, they work well, but still put off moisture when they burn. Make sure to be very careful with that heater when you plug/unplug it. I started the heater on the battery mode, then after it was running for a few minutes I plugged it into the wall and it kicked the fan off, which melted the fan in the heater. Luckily its getting replaced.

I currently have the regular Mr. Heater 35,000btu and it heats my 20' enclosed to 80+ in about an hour. I just add a box fan to circulate air, crack the roof vent and it's good to go.

How long does the fan last on the Hero while it's in battery mode?

Edit: Looks like the literature states 8 hrs. Any impute on real world application?

Haven't had it on battery mode for more than an hour, it gets to hot. That's why I purchased the 60,00btu instead of the 30,000 so I could bring temps up quickly. The 60,000btu can be turned down to 35,000btu if you wanted to.
