Another day another XP flown out X2

People keep forgetting somthing......

How many XP's are out there? Way more then any other brand.

The ones that are having problems are very few. 1-2%.

You hear about more ski-doo's 'cause there are so many more doo's out there than any other brand.

People just need somthing to talk about I guess.

Chaz

im thinkin of buyin a chopper and hang out in the revy area. :)

you are rite chazzer... when i was last in the moutains, it was 70% doo... but it all depends where you ride. McBride/Vailmount more doos, but revy you will see a less doo and more of things turboed/heavy things

Hardly saw any Doos out in Togwotee this year. Polaris and Cats everywhere.

Pic's to follow from 1 of the sleds that got flown out yesturday. I have to figure out how to make them smaller. From lake Ryan on the Pemberton ice cap to the Blackcomb Helli port $1250.00. I had asked my dealer about this problem when I was getting my gearing changed and they hadn't gotten and still have't gotten any official recall from BRP. They told me it was only hapening to a small %. My sled has 565 when it broke. Someone is going to get hurt if this breaks while climbing in a dangerous area. When it brakes there is no turning out or digging in just alot of FF bombs. I was lucky because it was at the top of the climb in the wind drifts.

All things you choose to change out Lucky not because they where broken or going to break but because you wanted to!

Not my problem you can't ride the machine any better than a 600. I have seen plenty of stock Nytros that run awesome. Keep telling yourself that the XP's are great and problem free. The thing is I think you own the Nytro because you want a reliable machine to tow out the ticking time bomb when it blows. Tick...Tock it is only a matter of time.......

rio i bought the nytro for 2 reasons, it is a true rider forward, at this point nothing else is acceptible to me, and i wanted to try a four stroke i new it was not going to be a killer mountain sled when i bought it, and you are right i did ad the stuff on not out of nessesity but i wanted better performance, i will have to fix the bent front end, just like i had to fix my driveshaft on the doo before it broke. my point is what does it matter to you are you a yamaha salesman and want to put the whole world on one? the little cheap shots by people that dont even own one and get ther info from the net is old but i guess some people just cant resist running the mouth. next sled for me is a cat when and if they put the mountain segment in there twin spar chassis then a polaris if they put there mountain segment in the IQ chassis so bottom line your wrong about why i own the nytro, your wrong about any brand loyalty blinders, for me ski doo offers the most traights i want in a snowmobile right now. fun and power to weight, and aperantly 38 out of every 100 sold agree. where what you ride aprx. 15 out of 100 agree with your choice. one ? after riding the nytro could you go back to a traditional non rider forward sled say apex since your blue to the core?

I dont understand why any xp owner wouldnt go get the shaft welded? It seems like its a "when" not "if" deal.

Not a guaranteed fix. I broke my WELDED driveshaft last weekend at 554 miles. 15 miles tow out...thankfully no helicopter bill.

My dealer stated that BRP is not even paying to weld them anymore. They are going to roll the dice and just let them fail instead of paying the cost of welding every one. They are blaming the break on metal fatique not their design?? Luckily my dealer had a few in stock so I'm back up and running. Putting the new one to the test tomorrow!

Hope no is hurt on big hill, I was on one.

bet it feels great making payments or just paying the 11k upfront to have all these problems.

I own a Doo, but for your homers making all these excuses its just plain ignorant. Its part of the reason BRP wont fess up, cause there are people willing to overlook it cause of brand loyalty.

Not mE-- GOOOOO DRAGON

See you at the top if your sled doesnt fall apart 1st. Maybe you can get the heli to just drop ya off on your way out.

(sorry for the guys who had to pocket this- Its just retarded hearing blind skidoo homers make excuses or just not see it for what it is. I feel bad for the folks who spent hard earned money and bought all the XP problems.)

The XP will ONE DAY be a bad *** sled. One Day...Maybe 2010

Maybe a little off subject but why would you pay a copter to lift it out? Fixing it where it broke would be more cost effective. I can see I'm not rich enough to run a new doo.

you leave a sled overnight in revy and you take a day or two before you come back for it and it might be barried beneath a few feet of snow. that and someone might help themselves to it or part it out. that being said that obviously you don't have the parts to fix it right there and then

who has broke a welded shaft? I have welded mine at 600mi now have 1420mi.

Read my post above on 3/7/08...welded at 300 miles by dealer and broke at 554 miles. BRP is not authorizing the welding of driveshaft any longer per my dealer in North Idaho.

Is it possible to just put a driveshaft from the older sleds in there instead, drivers and all?
