My grandkids: My Grandpa told me that he used to ride motorcycles and snowmobiles on that mountain.
Greenies grandkids: Yeah, my grandpa used to hike and back county ski on that mountain. But he and a bunch of other people formed a group and decided to close it to everyone. So now we are both sitting here staring at that mountain.

This got me to look at SAWS. From what I gather, SAWS want numbers.....as many people to be members as possible. Also if you want donations, I read on there site they recieve less than $5000 a year donation (don't quote me on that exact amount)???
I WILL join SAWS. E-Mailing "them" (the anti OHV website) will give the satisfaction that we are paying atention to them.

It's only illegal if you get caught.
I found the bottom line. They are completely jealous that we have the money to have these toys.
We make more money, are smarter, and went to college to have better jobs that allow us to make the money to spend on our toys.
According to their site, the average owner "is wealthier than the average American."
That's because we have real jobs and actually contribute to society rather then trying to keep people from enjoying life!!!

The only way for them to get what we have is by getting the political azzhats to feel sad for them so they can go cry about a dam dead tree in the forest without hearing a motor. Talk about noise pollution. If I came across one of them in the forest I would put the miserable beast out of its missery thinking that is was a wounded animal begging me to end it suffering.

I don't know about you guys, but these kind of organizations drive me nuts. Would love to show up at the guy's doorstep in Missoula and share my opinion with him!

Hey at least one more guy is signing up for saws because of this thread.
I agree more people need to read this and take action but most people won't do a thing about it unitl it hits their areas and by then it's too late.
BTW I never saw your previous post. So I am glad it was posted again. Got my blood pumping again for sure.
I think we need to make it mandatory to become a member of a club when you purchase an OHV. Membership fee is built into the price of the vehicle and in order to get the machine registered the next year you have to donate some money to a club. The word just needs to be spread more than just on this forum. Alot of people ride that aren't a part of a web forum.

This is a very serious problem. everyone needs to dig deep to help fund your local clubs ect. that fight to save our PUBLIC lands.
