Android by Verizon?

Anybody else buy this phone yet? I got it a few days ago, and I'm having a hard time figuring out a few things on it. First off, I love the phone, and everything it does. The internet is fast, and it loads the whole page.

The problems I'm having, is it didn't come with an owner's manuel, so your pretty much on your own to figure it out. I can't seem to figure out how to set the 1 touch dialing, and trying to forward texts is kind of a PIA. I was hoping you could just make a group, and forward the text to the whole group. If anybody's figured this out yet, I'd love for you to tell me how.

Any free apps you recomend? I've downloaded a few, but nothing too special.

Verizon sucks. I have been with them for two years, cant wait to go back to ATT.
Blackberry Storm is a POS! Verizon is a POS too.

I'm finally starting to figure out how to use this thing. It's a matter of weather you just tap it, or hold your finger down on most of the stuff to delete, or forward things. I love the voice navigation, & google GPS. Simple to use, and it works great. Only downside is it drains your battery fairly quick. You might have to have it plugged into your charger while using it.

All the things that were giving me grief, are slowly going away as I figure this phone out a little more. I've been watching youtube quite a bit to figure it out. It's a little bigger than what I'm used to, because the screen is almost
4" long. Much better picture for watching videos, and checking e-mails, surfing the web, etc.

Still haven't had any problems with the phone. It started getting real slow, but after a call to cust. service, I forgot you could open multiple apps. I had over 50 things running on it, and it bogged it down. All you have to do is click on each one, and it closes them again. Problem solved!

The barcode scanned is pretty cool too. You scan a barcode, and it pulls up what it is, and if you can find it any cheaper online anywhere. I played around with that last night, and it worked pretty well. Most of the time, it was the cheapest on e-bay though.

Can you hook it up to a corporate exchange email account via a HTTP address without paying an extra fee to Verizon?

example https : // mail. my company . com

I'm not sure on that one. I've got 3 different e-mail accounts set up to it right now, but I'm having a hard time trying to open the attachments. I believe it's all included in there $30 a month for the internet, but I could be wrong.

Are any of those 3 accounts corporate/business?

Or are they all yahoo/gmail/msn/etc.?

no, our work e-mail is just on a pop3 account with a gmail. You could call cust. service, and ask them if it supports the corporate accounts.

There is a link to the users manual on this site. Good luck and keep us posted. :beer;

Thank you. I had a link before, and I couldn't open it. This one works just fine.
