America is plagued with IDIOTS!

I can't help but laugh at the people who are crying and sniveling as if electing Obama really changed anything. Do you all really think Mitt was gonna make life so much easier for you? I call bullsh*t. For the longest time we have had presidents who are self serving who didn't give a chit about our people. At least Obama cares about the people.

And has far as healthcare goes people have no one to blame but themselves that it is becoming more and more expensive. They don't understand that by constantly going way over their deductible every year is not a good thing and that is what has driven the price up so much. If people would realize that they need to go to the doctor only when they were sick/hurt prices prices would be much lower. Now days people will go to the doctor just to say hi because they feel like they are getting a better deal on their health plan.

Now imagine that health care is "free". What do you think people are going to do? I've heard from a couple Canadians that people go to the ER/urgent care for colds and other stupid reasons and it congests it to the point where you would be waiting for hours to see a dr. if you we're in serious need. Also what does it do to the price of healthcare? I know it's "free" but somebody has to pay for it right? The government can't do anything efficiently except spend money. So what's the government inefficiency going to add to the price of healthcare?

Obama just talks a good line, he don't care any more about us than any of the rest of them. from what I've seen he just wants to make a name for himself and say "bronco bama saved the world", but there's not much to be done about it now so all we can do is hope we still have a country and some freedom left in 4 years.

the part that worries me is the last 4 years he had to worry about re-election so he couldn't fook it up real real bad, now he's got nothin ta lose so he can sink us then say "well we tried" and walk away.

Vern, he can still be removed from office if he is bad. There is a reason for the checks and balances and besides republicans have the house.

I am sorry for being impolite here, but that has to be one of the dumbest statements I've ever read on here.

Again, I apologize for being so blunt.

Well thanks for your opinion. Perhaps next time you could be so kind as to inform me why that is so dumb as well? While I don't think its the most ingenious sentence ever constructed it got the point across, perhaps you missed it. The point was most politicians have hidden agendas, and they use their position to benefit themselves and their friends. Bush for example helped himself and all his oil buddies while he was president. My point was Obama isn't involved in an industry he does not make decisions based on how much it will help him.

Really? Obama is not involved in an industry? He involved himself big time in the auto industry and that bought him Michigan. He is involving himself in the medical industry and that bought him all the votes from the worthless and the idiots who truly believe that life is a free ride. And you sit here and say he does not make decisions based on how it will help him? That is all he has based his decisions on in the last 4 years and that is what he will do this 4. But now he will be basing them on how it will advance his parties agenda. In the meantime he is buying votes with my money and I am sick of it.

After Reagan and reaganomics it seemed like finding a good job was hard for the working class and the economy stayed stale through the first Bush years. People making 20,000 to 40,000 had very little if any expendable cash. Toward the end of Clintons second term that same amount of income seemed to go farther than before, good paying jobs were available and people had more expendable cash.By the end of Bushes second term the housing bubble burst,AIG,the banking and auto industries all needed a bailout. If history can repeat itself and Obama and the house can work together to do what is right for the true American, each side needs to think like an American not like a dem or rep, I don't believe things will be as wretchedly horrible as alot of you are making it out to be.

if i recall there was a lot of talk about Obama giving billions of dollars to his green energy buddies also. he may not be the end of the world(or may be, it is comin up) but i don't think he is as high and mighty and all about "the people" as u(Polaris dude) and appearantly a lot of people think. he is still a politician which means he'll say whatever he's gotta say to get the vote.

It also got him Ohio as it has a lot of auto parts manufacturing.

If you remember right when Reagan took office cc interest was 21 to 22%. Home mortgage rates were at least 15. A car loan would cost you about 17%. Where are you getting to 20 to 40K income back then If I had made 20K back then I would have had plenty of expendable cash 40K a year would have gotten me a house that I could have paid cash for. I bought my first house in 1980 and I paid 47K for it and it was on 2 years old. If you made 40K a year in Reagan's early years you would have been very well off. Hell 40K a year now is a darn good job.

Not saying he's the golden child, just hoping to stop getting my eyeballs scr#%^ed out of there sockets from both sides.

I am not going to dispute what you say about Reagans early years . Just recalling how it seemed to be after his terms.

When Reagan entered office the economy was the worst it had been since the depression. In 1980 something like 44 or 4500 Americans reported incomes over 1 mill annually. When he left office it was something like 35K reporting income of 1 mill annually. Reagan turned this country around because he understood the fact that if you lowered taxes people would have more money to spend and in turn the economy would improve which would generate even more tax income. That is how it works and that is something the other party will never understand.

He also left the office with over a 70% approval which is something no President has done since and something no President had done before him after Truman? I think it was Truman

First off won is spelled WON
Next, you are finally starting to come around mold. It is the fault of the American public for electing an idiot (obama) to the office of the president of this country, TWICE

you can correctly spell a three letter word but beyond that your intellectual abilities seem to be lacking

24 hours and 13 minutes for you to come up with that one. WOW!

At least I can spell a 3 letter word which is something you lack in.
