This stupid movie is still number one at the box office, I don't get it. I was sooooo dissapointed in it. I like Stiller and Jack Black but I thought this thing sucked right from the very begining. I almost walked out............. and I sat all the way threw Norbit.

I thought it was the most hilarious movie I have ever seen....better than Dumb and Dumber!!! that's saying alot. Most people I've talked with had similar thoughts. Just takes a special sense of humor I guess. 
WHAT? that is one the the best movies ever it was awesome and Norbit wasn't that bad it had really funny parts and some really really bad parts but Tropic Thunder is great all the way through
I just thought it was ok... not terrible but not great either.

i havent seen it yet, i hear lots of good about it from buddies though. but i will throw in a norbit endorsement! maybe i was just in the right mood but it gave me a good laugh or two

You can't compare Dumb and Dumber with tropic Thunder, 2 completly different leagues.

Almost walked out. By far one of the worst movies I have seen in a LONG time.
Biggest waste of $42 bucks.
I guess one thing that really ruined if for me was the dump SOB's that take their 5-8 year old kids to these movies. I felt uncomfortable with them being there more than anything. If it's an adult type movie leave the little ones at home or go watch Flipper!

You hit the nail right on the head about these "parents" that take kids to movies like this. Thes people shouldn't be aloud to reproduce. The wife and I went to Step Brothers a couple of days ago and these people walk in with 3 kids all under 10 and the youngest was probably 5, maybe 6. I just shook my head.

I couldn't hold it together in Something About Mary in the theatre, that was until I did a quick look behind and saw 3 of my mom's 67 year old friends sitting there. That was during the hair junk scene. One of my mom's friends leaned over slapped me on the shoulder and said, now that's funny. Ruined the rest of the movie for me.
Tropic Thunder was pretty good but agree not in the same time zone as Dumb and Dumber- own it and when i need a mindless knee slapping break watch it monthly

Brew "OH NO YOU DI ANT" OMG you can't even say Dumb and Dumber in the same sentance with Tropic Dunder. Booooo Booooo BLASPHAMY! Bite your tongue. I will NOW call you "Half Squat"!
Without the bodiless Director's head scene it was total bust....that part was funny.
