What about building a titanium over structure?

The only gain I see is strength am I missing something?

Yes strength only. The carbon fiber tubes are known to break as well as the cast pieces from bumper impacts.

Let me know exactly what you guys have in mind and I'll give it some thought. Replacing just the tubes and re using the cast aluminum ends to me would make the most sense as well as bring the cost down. Amount of interest as you know would be a big factor as well. I'm right in the middle of making a tube order for this season so now would be ideal for that. Buying in bulk is the only way I can make a profit on Ti parts. I can get small quantities anytime but pay a premium. I don't have a sled in the shop to measure OD's. Thanks!
