Headed to Alpine for the frist time the end of december to ride with dan adams and next level riding clinic. The map directions show us to take US191 to US89/26 in to alpine. Are these roads maintained 24/7 or should we plan accordingly to pass through there in the daytime?

Its western Wyoming not Siberia. The roads are maintained daily or as conditions require. Usually passable 24\7 or will be posted closed.

Depending on weather you should have no problems. I will be helping out with clinics this winter so we'll see ya soon!

That's funny ^^. Eerily similar depending on how much snow is falling. As long as the wind doesn't pick up too bad, the roads are usually open just about everywhere. I would check the weather a couple days in advance and at least plan on not rolling into town at 2 a.m. if things look iffy. I think plows stop at 9 p.m. IIRC. A couple years ago we came in from ID for the hillclimbs after the plows stopped. Only took us 4 1/2 hours to complete a 2 hr drive, but we made it.
