Question has been asked several times.
For me, I know Paul, he is geographically close to me and it would be a no brainer for me, I would go with Impulse.
I have no exposure to the Alpine Turbo but I have had lots of exposure to the Impulse and it is a great set up and even better this year.
Paul is a great guy with a great product.
There is a guy in Utah who went from Alpine to an Impulse race kit. I don't think he posts here but I know what he would say. He thought there wouldn't be a big diff and that his old apex was fast. His new sled is many legnths ahead of his old sled at the same boost. Not knocking Alpine at all. Just stating the facts. The Impulse race kit is simply making the most power out there right now. Impluse' stand alone fuel management is going to further change the game.
Yes I know I sound like a cheer leader but I am seeing this with my own eyes and stating what I see
thinking its more of a geographical thing, if you in canada, run alpine, just makes getting stuff easier, no border hassle, if your in the US, run impulse.
i like & ride alpine because it works for me i think pauls kit is great too just pick which one works best for you.them impulses better be fast because i know there is some smoking fast alpine sleds this year.![]()

It seems that the US guys prefer to buy the Impulse kits which only makes sense. If I lived in the US, then I would probably be running Impulse too. I guess we will see this winter. First Revy ride in a couple weeks and the snow is already deep. Hope we see some Impulse sleds there and see how they stack up.![]()
Seeing about 80-85 mph in Revy pow. That is of course once the sled is planing the snow...uphill though. I never run more than 18 lbs boost and usually around 15-16. Fuel is 50/50 C12/Prem with 9.5:1 in my Nytro and 10:1 in my Apex. Both have 2871 turbo's. We have made some changes to our Nytro motors this year so we can run up to around 25 lbs boost.Neil, what kind of track speeds do you see in the deep snow?
