basically if you bottom out, youll likely break the rail, Im 180# with out gear, I run 75# front and 125# rear, I don't ride overly hard or send it off any jumps and has worked well so far, Have had a few times where i can see a light impact/rub mark from i think the bolt head on the front of the rail though.
Not that I can tell lol, Ran it last season at that, she gets close or does bottom out still but much less likely.75psi doesn’t seem a bit to much on the front shock? I’ve been thinking about trying 60psi in the front
I tried looking it up but im not finding much. What rubber stopper are you talking about exactly? Id be interested in a better bump stop up front if they offer oneFor a few bucks you can replace the bolt and add the rubber stopper from the 21 limiter strap. May save the rail?
The 2021 rubber bumper replaced the washer under the head of the bolt that holds the limiter strap on the top front cross brace. search "BUMPER,RUBBER-MOLDED #2623-302" on country cat.com website.I tried looking it up but im not finding much. Found the parts you're talking about. Curious how exactly that limiter strap bump stop helps? Is that bolt what's hitting the rail when it bottoms out?The 2021 rubber bumper replaced the washer under the head of the bolt that holds the limiter strap on the top front cross brace. search "BUMPER,RUBBER-MOLDED #2623-302" on country cat.com website.

People were complaining about getting scratches in the paint on their rails from the bolt, my guess is that is all that rubber bumper is meant to fix.Found the parts you're talking about. When people were describing the damage to the front rail last year I put a 4x4 under the front rail and compressed the rear until the front collapsed and yes the bolt does hit the rail but the rail is also recessed at that location. I ordered the new bumper today and will report what I find. My guess is the bumper is molded in such a way as to encapsulate the head of the bolt such that it cushions the hit a little. I'll see later.Found the parts you're talking about. Curious how exactly that limiter strap bump stop helps? Is that bolt what's hitting the rail when it bottoms out?
Got the bumper today, as I suspected the bumper encapsulates the head of the bolt so the bumper reduces the chance the head of the bolt hits the rail, although given a very hard hit the rubber may displace enough to allow the bolt to touch the rail. When people were describing the damage to the front rail last year I put a 4x4 under the front rail and compressed the rear until the front collapsed and yes the bolt does hit the rail but the rail is also recessed at that location.
