Plowed the lot today at TML and thought I would go have a beer and burger and probably see a few old customers but they were locked up tight at 6pm. Didn't look like much activity, all I saw were no parking signs everywhere. Are they closed again????

wow, we just left there after 4 glorious days of riding. Not sure what your talking about.

Maybe they saw you pull up, and they turned off the lights? :tape2:

When was the last time you were there?

Tonight, Sunday, about 6pm. Have some groups coming out, just trying to plan food & drinks. Talked to one of the locals and they told me they thought it was closed again!

Bart, how was the snow while you were here? It was mid thigh deep in the lot when I got here. Looks stupid deep.

Hello sledders, it appears there's been some mis-information floating around..

so .........breaking news!!.....

THE ALEXANDER IS OPEN! and has been all winter!
On Sunday at 4pm, we did shut-down for a trip to town for supplies.
Sorry for the inconvience.

But in the future, please...give us a courtesy call (970 856 2539) before posting malicious rumors that could affect our current and future business. Thank you.

The Lodge.

Natalie was slammed for lunch, Ryan and I were slinging drinks for her, we left about 2pm and she said Alexander would be open everyday this week.
And yes, its Deep!!

And yes, from time to time. Jesse Ventura aka BOHICA will bartend at the lodge.

This rarely happens, but the customers seem to really like his Navy stories, so it's entertaining.

Thanks for stopping by today Mark. Great catching up. Your TDOO looks great. Can't wait to take a little spin on it. We're going to the butte this weekend. Have to do a little Mtn horse retrieval.

Sam, one of Scott's rigs down? What happened?

Dropped into a hole we couldn't get out of. Had to hike to Kebler road (.5 miles, 4 hours), built snow cave... But my sat phone worked and Peter came and rescued us late last night. Have to go retrieve the donkies Sat. I'm guessing your jealous Mark, since you missed out on all the fun! I kept thinking about our hike out last year. Then next day your snowcat to the rescue!

I understand that kebler slid today at the seven sisters and a couple wisconsin guys didn't make it. Was going up tomorrow, but have a bad
feeling about it.

You hear anything?

Heard the same. Search and rescue went out today for two guys, one fatality, sounds like it was a man from Wisconsin. No good, be careful out there, stay smart and on high alert. This happened right off the main road, scary. Been under this hill a hundred times. With as much snow as we've had slopes that normally aren't of much concern are now a threat, stay wise and scrutinize all slopes!

Condolences and prayers to the guy's friends/family.
