Dear sweet God...I've said it before, but if this guy wins MN is gonna get a whole lot worse. What part doesn't he get. It all boils down to him being responsible in the end. Don't blame the accountant, you picked him and if he isn't competent why should we think you will have competent peopel working for you in DC, well you and the rest of Cali tries to wreck my state.

Jesse Ventura has hinted a few times here recently while promoting his new book that he may run for the open senate seat in MN. I hope he does, I think that he would do a good job. Maybe he could body slam Franken........that would be awesome to see.

Wiz, that seems to be the ticket for "comedians" who think they need to get into tv politics. Ever watched Bill Mahrs show or seen his stand up? Course now George Carlin, that guy could probably pull it off. Can you imagine the 7 words you can't say in Congress?

I seem to remember J Ventura kicking Colemans a$$ in a governors race...I also seem to remember than he did a fair job as Governor and had the highest approval rating of any MN Governor. So right winger, he is funny how? I hope he does run, I will be looking forward to sending you a dead crow in the mail so you can eat it.

Ever notice how Jesse adds that phrase a couple seconds after he stops speaking? LOL.........."you know"?. He doesn't care if someone doesn't like what he says. We need more of that , and less political correctness....."you know?"

Then there's John Stewart (Liebowitz, his real name.) Not funny.
Letterman, not funny. silly, disrespectful, insulting,predicatable, yes.

The Body may have been popular at the time, but I bet he wouldn't win Governor again...

We do need more of the attitude he had but then again we also need someone who will work for MN and not burn every bridge they have.

Well I don't know about a "fan" but I watch about the first 1/2 hr of the show most days........."you know."
Leno, aside from being a car guy, his humor is along the Vaudville style (old school) and being I'm an old guy guess thats why I connect with it......"ya' know?"
Sheesh, gotta quit that.......

In college, I had an economics prof that ended every sentence with "you see".
Drove everybody nuts. So we would keep track of the number "you see's" during the lecture period. I must have absorbed enough info to get an A out of that class.

Speech quirks are easy enough to fall into unknowingly. I taught electronics for 37 years, and one thing I learned one has to "listen" to ones own lectures as they are being presented to see if annoying speech patterns are sneaking in........ "ya know."

I "know" i have the same problem telling folks how we are gonna get the x-rays. My personal favorite Jeese was "joke joke joke"

Oh and fox, I am by no means far right wing or right wing at all, I claim no party. Hell I made the mistake of voting for Oberstar for 3 or so times...until he started taking transportation money for bike hangers at airports and then had the balls to say the federal gas tax needed to be raised to prevent more 35w bridge fiascos.
