AirPro Suspension Aid

what are you guys using for a pump to pressure up your airpro ?

I use my timbersled TSS pump but there are many small bike tire pumps you can buy

I ran the AirPro last season and it worked well, I used 15-20 PSI never had any issues. that being said I am still looking at some stiffer springs this season so i can get a little more aggressive, I will still use the AirPro in conjunction to eliminate the bottoming. I am 200 lbs no gear and even though the AirPro worked well it was still too soft to take a drop or sharp valley

I recommend the AirPro, made last season much better for me.

Installed my airpro last night. Pretty simple. A bit tight with cyclops light and all the other stuff we run on our bars for snow. Used my tss pump to inflate and measured with a little digital guage i use in the summer. I have .62 springs and weigh about 190 fully geared. I’m starting at 4 lbs. We’ll see how it works if we ever get snow.

Airpro works great for me too. Im running .56 , with max oil level, 10wt., OC WP forks. Stock valving works well. This is on a 13sxf ridden fairly aggressively.

Just installed air pro system, very nice product, also mounted my cyclops snow bike light where the two brackets bolt together, had to drill another hole and get a longer bolt and lock but but looks like it should!

Great find! I had tried a couple days ago to order a set of these from their website, but the only shipping option to the US added $48. :face-icon-small-sho I wouldn't mind the AirPro, but my dash is pretty crowded and I don't think I could get it mounted. The AirRide looks like a really simple install, and I don't mind checking the air in two places.

I bought one recently, but mine didn't come with the fork tube fittings like those pictured. Are those an accessory item? The fittings I got the air tube connects through the top of the fitting.
Did you ever figure this out?..Just got mine and noticed the same thing.

Before you all run out and pay exactly 10 x the price for this $10 commercially available valve check this out first:

https://www.princessauto.com/en/detail/2-pc-1-8-in-npt-air-tank-valves/A-p0430253e

Also available at Home Depot in the US (but not Canada - as usual) Just drill and tap your fork cap out to 1/8-NPT and screw this in to each cap and it's the same thing as the $100 unit. I'm making a manifold in the middle with a little gauge which will branch out to both caps so that I can purge in the summer and charge for snow biking with just one point so that both fork legs are at the same pressure.

I wonder if it would be worth it for me to bring my fork caps to have someone drill and tap them out to fit those valves.

For the $70 or so to have the ones on eBay shipped to us here in the US, have it be plug and play, might be worth it. I just don't have a drill press. I may have the correct tap, and die, but not the drill press.

It might be the right time to invest in a drill press. You can also do it if you're careful with a hand drill. It's an 8.7 mm drill with the 1/8-27NPT tap. Use lots of oil as I broke my tap while drilling out the bars for heatant (there's another use for the same NPT tap and the drill press). The tap is only $6 at Crappy Tire up here in the great white north.

Is there enough meat on those to turn them down on the lathe and re-thread them. Cant see a pic of the ID. I'm not keen on changing my fork caps.

One could buy a male to male adapter and tap the ID of the valve out to a size that fits the adapter but then your height could obstruct with the handle bar. I'm a fan of the central manifold with two flex lines to each fork cap. That way you're always equalizing both legs and if you put a little low pressure gauge on the manifold you'll always know your pressure. The manifold will have a Schrader valve for your pump, a gauge in the middle and a fork bleeder for when you want to purge all air in the summer. I'll be making one up this week and I'll post pics when it's done.

I emailed the supplier I got mine from..see what he says......

So I got a response from airpro saying the Yamaha kits come like this. Doesn't make sense to me as the airlines sticking straight up is just asking for trouble..not impressed and why are yamaha different?
