Air vent material

trampoline safety mesh

This stuff is pretty strong and cheap too. Available from a canvas or awning shop. Drill or cut holes and silicone on.

air vents

Use the Black covered satelite dish screen material in past works great and available on roadside with a srewdriver and whiskey bottle:wine:

the cost of some of these vent kits is more than a set of new panels,I took a 1/8 or 3/16 drill bit and drilled a thousand little holes where i needed them ,you can get creative with patterns ,just do inside the decals, add decals and do inside them or whatever you want the snow won"t go thru that small of holes just give it a brush once and awhile to keep the snow from sticking. If you don't like the looks of it just cover it up with a new decal. As for the material some guys say trampoline fabrick if you know of a totalled trampoline.

Im going to start drilling and venting on my xp this weekend. I was just going to do it the clutch side panel, but should I do it on the opposite panel was well? What are your guy's thoughts? I was thinking that venting on the can side would drop the overall engine temp, allowing cooler air to flow from engine to clutch and out.

Kind of painful drilling holes in the new sled, but I think they turned out ok. I havent put any screen in yet. I will try it without first, see how it works. I might need more, but I guess it is a start.
