Hi guys I have a 2010 iq and wanted to remove airbox to check oil pump adjustment I removed muffler and silencer to get to boot clamp on right side and then removed clutch cover and computer plus secondary clutch to get at left boot clamp. With both clamps loosened and top strap all off could not get air box out.Is there a secret I missed or do I need to swear more

Tip the top of the air box forward, and use that to twist /rotate the lower part of the box to the rear

It will come off.

Prior to re-install, clean out the air box, wipe down the exterior of the airbox with carb cleaner/lacquer thinner and run some duct tape over the seam.

This will help prevent sucking belt dust into the engine

Don't forget the t bap sensor and fuel filter. There is a screw holding the fuel line on the air box and the fuel filter snaps in and out the side of the air box.
