$48.50 in Minn for 3 years and they offer reciprocity to Utah. I'm not saying you should do this, but if you were inclined to investigate it you might find that you can go to this web address http://www.dnr.state.mn.us/licenses/snowmobile/index.html, go to the bottom and download the form, fill it out with your Utah address, send it and your check to Minn and in about 2 weeks receive your Minn registration and stickers and not have to pay for registering in Utah.

I'm not saying it works that way, I'm just saying that maybe it works that way.

Then you might want to go to this web site http://stateparks.utah.gov/ohv/reciprocity and print out the list of states that require an out of state permit so you can show the officer than Minn has reciprocity with Utah.

I'm just saying, you might want to look in to it.

Don't you need proof of residency to register a vehicle the first time?

Proof of residency where? Minn doesn't care where you live, they just want your money. :)
