aftermarket trail arms vs oem

Tried to save some cash getting aftermarket arms for my escape. I had to make some adjustments for them to fit and I dont think it handels the same. The question is, are the regular edge arms the same as the escape arms? I almost think I got the xc arms or that the ride fx shox require something different. Any info will help thanks.

Depends on the year but in general the Escape arms are different than the regular ones. And the XC arms are different still.

I've used the aftermarket ones on Gen II RMKs with good luck.

The vertical escape trailing arms are a light weight version of the RMK arms. Where the upper radius rod bolts to is narrower than the standard RMK and the sway bar mount is different if you use that. I was going to purchase a set of aftermarket trailing arms for mine and got to thinking about the big picture. That is the part that gets trashed 90 percent of the time when something happens. My thought was if there is snow on the ground and I can just go to the local Polaris dealer or my buddies place and pick one up and be back and riding again I am going to be a lot happier than having to wait for some aftermarket company to manufacture one because they don’t sell that many anymore and don’t stock them. Just my thinking. They do look a lot better though……
