Aftermarket Fuel Filter for 2007-2010 CFI's

Yes the 07's use a different filter.

Still have one left for 08-10 cfi-4 engines.

$33 + $6 shipping to lower 48.

Correct, I have since fixed my post. Sorry about that. I just found out the 07 I worked on a few months ago was actually an 08 which the 08 fuel tank, steering hoop, lines etc. are different. It had the 07 Dragon hood. Decieving...

2008 Dragon is different

I have a 2008 Dragon 700 and the OEM filter is part #252064. It is cheaper and the hose is much longer than the 2009. My wife's sled is a 2009 Dragon 600 SP and this aftermarket hose/filter appears to be correct for that sled. I will definitely try one on that sled this year!

Boy am I kicking myself in the *** right now. I just bought one from a dealer and installed it tonight. $90.00 I. Could have spent a little more and bought 4 Spi filters

So....these filters will NOT work on the 07 700's?

If I remember right (I'm 50 now) on the 07 700's you'll see a 90* bend in the upper leg of the filter hose to fit the tank properly. I have used the 08 and later but you have to route it carefully and it is a bit short. If you make one from the parts store just allow a little more hose above the filter and you'll be fine, fitting connections are the same on both. Hope that is correct and makes sense. EW

You are correct EricW...sharp as a tack 50 year old! I'm almost there myself.

fuel hose too stiff

I ordered two of these fuel filters from hi performance engineering (part #241200) this fall for my '10 800 RMK. The hose used on these was so stiff it would not route for the install without a massive kink in the hose. Had to shell out $94 for a polaris one (with a much more flexible hose!) after spending $50+ shipping on those. The OEM filter installed without trouble. Anyone else have a similar problem with the aftermarket filter and how did you get around it? I tried heating it briefly to increase flexibility but that did no good.

ive been running these SPI fuel filters for 3 years..never once had an issue and ive never paid more then $30 for one also.

I have a project 09 Assault that I am working on, it was taken apart when I got it. The fuel lines are missing the o-rings and black plastic piece behind the o-ring. I also need the springs that hold the fuel line connections together. I have looked and found no place to buy these parts, anyone know of a place online?

Thanks for any help!
