Hey i just purchased a 12 assault and ive been hearing from people that the pro chassis drivers like to ratchet, Does anyone know where to get extrovert drivers? Im thinking if i can run a looser track, i may be able to gain some more track speed by having a more free drive. The specs that polaris gives for track tension is absurd.

here we go again... do some searching on this topic. the short answer to your question is yes, but your assumptions are wrong.

I had Avid combo drivers on my 09 Assault to run a different track. The drivers work fine, but require u to shorten the rails and run an anti-stab kit. I broke 2 of the anti-stabs. the first time the rail went through the track. it got pretty expencive.

Imo just run the stock setup and keep your track tight enough to not rachet.

Ah ic thanks guys, just my neighbour's been feeding me bad news about them, he got a regular 2012 rmk and was telling me that it was a huge issue kinda thing.. I havent heard nothing on here, just wanted your opinions!

These modern tracks need to be tight to perform, so Poo's track tension requirements aren't out of line.
