Aerocharger or Boondocker Kit?

There is alot of good kits this year and i am thinking of a kit myself. Many says Bd, but my head says something else..:p Even tho i think Bd is one of the best kits today. But i feel that i want to buy push, aerocharger or twisted.. The Push kit is really tempting, but someone mentioned in another thread that the Push kit for Poo doesn`t have any field testing? How do they know what cluctch kit that works etc?

Thanks.

Turbo Tuning Ride Reports

I have seen and used only two turbo set ups and my first expierence was with the BD Pump Gas Minicooler with the new at the time elctronic boost controller. Even though the kit had a great fit and finish it was always hard to get tuned right even with help from Jared at BD.

After spending some time with Justin from Silber and some advice he thought it was a good set up and he did not critisize it and he got it to run better and it was usable but to be honest at that time I was so sick and tired of dealing with the headaches it was no longer fun to ride. BD basically sold me on the fact that after it was tuned you could just pull the rope and go with very little changes to the. This was not the case and obviously it was not fun. I traded off the sled and bought a 11 Pro.

So I can tell you at that time I would of never even considered buying another turbo set up until I rode with a friend who has a 11 pro with a silber kit and he did pull the rope and ride last year and it was strong and trouble free for him. Yes the sales price was alot less then BD but Justin helped me when it was not his kit and made it work and I did not buy anything from him. I am now considering the silber kit for my new 13 but I am still gun shy.

Yes I know someone will chime in and say that is why you need to know how to tune and if you do not know how you have no business owning a turbo sled. That may be true for the old school stuff but quite a few of the turbo guys now claim it is a pull the rope and ride scenario. I love the info I read on the HM turbo but it is pretty pricey.
