Advice on where to ride WI/MI-UP

Thinking about loading the trailer up and heading north this weekend. I called the Ironwood, MI trail report and they said not to come up until the trails are opened on Dec. 1st. She said they have over 40" and supposed to get 10 more tonight. Anyone have any recommendations on where to ride (this weekend) in the Hurley, WI/Ironwood, MI or north of there? Thanks

Like you said the trails are closed. So..... and rifle deer season is open to so I would not suggest riding. Some get pretty upset if you scare off their trophy.

I may be the minority on this, but I think it would be a bad idea to ignore the law and ride before 12-1. Not that I'm a law abiding citizen or anything, but that would just give anti-snowmobile people ammo to take away a trail system that goes thru private land. Just wait a couple more weeks. Let the locals get it set up!

Trails are open in the Seeley Hills area near Hayward. With none of the lakes or swamps frozen, I don't know what your in for. Not familiar with the area.

Be considerate to the hunters. Season is open in the up and Wisconsin opens Saturday. I wanna ride as bad as you but, I'm waiting.

legally you cannot ride on public land in Michigan during the day light hours during firearm deer season. Ski
