Advice on where to ride in the "Star Valley" area....

Howdy folks, a few of us Utah boys are looking to make a trip up yonder this coming weekend. Was looking to see if anyone could point us in the general area that may keep us turbo hounds smiling?
We have rode out of Alpine with minimal success. Looking to start further south this time.
Also if the parking area is large enough to park a 40' motorhome with a 30' enclosed?

Thanks for any and all advice. Feel free to PM me if you would rather.

Jed.

Depends on where you want to ride. If you're going to ride Greys River, I would stay at the Rockin M in Alpine. Gardner's Village has easy parking access in Afton. The Old Mill cabins are pretty nice in Afton also. With that motor home and trailer I would go for Gardner's or The High Country Inn. The parking lot on South End is plenty big enough for your rig. But you will want to be there early in the morning.

We will be staying in the motorhome. Plan on staying in the parking area, if that is feasable? Probably roll in friday night. If the riding is good, we will stay until monday. If not, we will move on to the next best place.
Thanks for the info.

I don't know that there is anything wrong with staying in the parking lot, can't really say that I have seen anyone do it. The snow is still pretty thin down low. Once you get to Poker Flat it gets a lot better.
