Accident in the Snowies Sat Feb 28th??

Pack a radio, tune into talkaround. Not hard to figure out where they are.

155.760/155.145, 114.8Hz.... Nice thing about Wyo, they're still maintaining analog repeaters.

I do agree though, >90 with a trailer == dumb. (>80 && <90) = stupid.

Leave 30mins earlier if it's that much of a concern.

Not anymore, the state went digital. It is very expensive, to even try to monitor.

Who doesnt pull at 90+ cmon there is some serious anticipation when you can see the mountains but are still 30 miles away.

Whoopty doo. You've been on the road for 10 hours, what's the difference whether it takes you 30 minutes or 40 minutes? :face-icon-small-dis

I have never pulled a trailer at any faster than 80 MPH.

It's no wonder I always see so many people in the ditch while I keep driving.

Honestly you can drive safe and sensibly on the interstate its the idiot drugged up truckers and old gramps and grandmas ya got to look out for..as for the forum there is no need for everyone to argue like children.

LOL, nice stereotype. Truck driver's bring your goods to the stores but since they're "drugged up" who knows what they've done to the goods, maybe they're poisoned or something. If I was you I wouldn't buy anything that gets hauled with trucks, oh wait, that's almost everything. Maybe you should have a little more respect for those guys and not stereotype like a typical person that has no ****in' idea what it's like to sit in the driver's seat and pull the loads they do.

I see 10x more more pickups and cars in the ditch on icy roads than I do trucks(who's drivers apparently are "drugged up"), what does that tell you?

I don't even have to type anymore, my exact thoughts.

KELLER,give me your license plate number and next time all those drugged up truckers are on the roads i'll have em watch for ya.

Anyone hear why the ambulance and all the sherrifs were up at green rock today? I seen them all go by when I was dragging my POS polaris back to the trailer around 12:30. The road from Larimie was covered in Sherrifs today as well pulling people over for speed so watch your speed.

My friend broke his back.. we were about 1mile past widowmaker we were jumping and he landed HARD and Wrong.. so that ended his day real fast.. it took like 2 1/2 hours to get him back..

Glad to get back on subject.. Most importantly PRAYERS for your buddies recovery keep us updated!!!!! Let him know he is in snowesters thoughts:sun::sun::sun:

Thanks Tin-Man, I'm doing better, they got me on some real strong meds once i got back to minnesota:p, i ended up with a fracture in L1:(, a compressed fracture in L3:mad: and a chip broken off of one of them too:eek:. Thanks for the support and i'll be back out next year for sure!:D

Hope for a quick recovery!! Things can happen soo quickly out there. Buddy jumped off 10' drift the 25th in the same area and landed right on top of a boulder:mad: Broken heel and owner of a rental sled:(:( Sure puts a damper on an otherwise great trip.

Damn It! The thread went back onto topic, from when it was off topic and just when things were getting good.

Anyway, good to hear your OK. We all must remember to be careful.

Ok then back off topic....im telling you some of them truckers are on drugs.....there is no way a non team driver can legally put on 200k miles a year without drugs.....and im not saying the truckers are the ones that go in the ditch....and im not downing truckers....i have alot of over the road buddies...but its the druggies that give them a bad name and its those that you have to look out for....as for the ditch goers its the 2wd drivers with the cruise on that have no idea how to drive in slick conditions or dont drive sensibly and its the crazy speeders on slick roads that think they know how to drive until...baam...i am on a volunteer fire department and ive been to a few wrecks

Well heck mines bigger than yours!! blah blah blah
I know I can pull it 100mph plus but why??? I want to get there without killing myself or worse yet living with killing someone else!!!! JTFM back to the point I broke T4&T5 spring 2007 in a losing fight with a cow:eek: just listen to Doc and keep moving you will be back to enjoy it next year:beer;

As for towing at 90mph its not an issue if you have good equipment. Run 90mph all the time on I-80. Makes the 750 mile drive go faster :) Eric[/QUOTE]

Too bad you don't drive 750 miles the other way....douche
