Hey guys looking at buying my first ABS pack. Wondering what people have had good luck and recommend. Been looking at the BCA Float 25 turbo. Anyone running one of those? Thanks

I think the Float 25 turbo fixes the shortcomings of my Float 32. I found it ridiculous that BCA wanted you to buy a separate external shovel carrier in the past. I can fit my shovel inside my 32, but I'd rather have it outside. I assume the build quality on the 25 is going to be as good as the 32 I have. If so, they are a solidly built pack that are affordable.
First off, good call on updating to an avy pack. It's a great piece of equipment that I hope you never has to use!!
I've had the BCA Float 32 and the Float 22 Throttle and now I'm running an Ortovox ABS Base 20.
The BCA bags are nice but I got tired of the air cylinder leaking and having to have it filled last minute. I ended up sending in three or four of them before I starting looking into the ABS bags. After riding with Dan Adams last season and seeing the Ortovox packs in person and trying them on, I was sold.
The quality of the Ortovox packs are awesome and the fit is great. They run a sealed nitrogen tank and a twin air bag ABS system that is removable from the backpack.

Riding with the Ortovox Tour 32+7 ABS pack for a couple years now. There is just enough room for basic survival/safety gear and not much more. I couldn't get by with anything smaller, even though I'd like to. Seems to be a quality pack. I'd buy it again.
