Just wondering for the guys that have one if its got enough adjustability to be able to wheelie when wanting to play around and adjust it back to keep the skis down for climbing.

Thanks

don't know of too many guys running the K-Mod skid. But have heard pretty positive stuff about it from guys out east. We have always ran timbersled skids and they have been great. adjustability, lightweight, good performance. Does your sled have a turbo on it or stock. Give me a call tommorow and I can get a Timbersled kit shipped out to you if you are interested or have any questions. Cody

no turbo yet, building the sled up this fall, would like the idea of a timbersled by being able to run both front and rear from same company, how do they hold up to a turbo sleds as in wear parts like bushings?

I have the kmod on my boosted apex. It is great for keeping skis down but can still wheelie it when I lean back when climbing. That is on the smallest setting of the coupling blocks. I could always go more and keep them down more if I didn't want to wheelie.

My cousin has one on his Turbo nytro and is about the same. His will wheelie a little easier on his first setting but keeps the skis down if you lean forward. And again he has two more settings he could go.

As for the ride the sled rides like a Cadillac. Over bumps and stuff it just soaks them up. Besides the Turbo it was the best money I spent. Kevin at kmod knows his stuff. He gave me base settings for the floats and was spot on. My next sled will being getting a kmod for sure.

I run a timbersled on my T-Nytro with no problems at all. If you look at any of the Team Thunderstruck guys most of them are running Timbersled skids on their Nytro's. I think that says something right there. Randy has had great success with his.

You could not pay me to run a timbersled in a Turbo Yammi. pm RJM350 on here and ask him how it worked for him on his TNytro... 3 bent rear arms (1 small dia arm and 2 big ones), and a cracked tunnel among other problems all in about 600 miles, no matter how timbersled told him to set it up it would not work and he only weighs about 180 lbs. The one good thing is they replaced all the arms no questions asked.

Kmod works great in my Apex. Keeps the front down and not too much ski pressure.

Talked to Kevin today, said they were behind on rails should be in next week, thanks for the info guys, decided on getting a kmod as soon as they come in

X2 I havent heard of a timbersled rear end turbo sled that doesnt wheelie, even with all thier improvements. Just my 2 cents, not trying to start somthing or offend anyone.

I started out with a mtn tamer on my 08 mcx 270 nytro 162. I now have the KMOD gen2. I am very happy with the KMOD. It is quick and easy to adjust for ski lift, built tough, eats the bumps, and keeps the skis down better. I usually ride with the rear blocks in the position that allows for the most transfer. If I'm racing or climbing steep stuff, I will rotate it to the center position. I think I've only used the third position twice and it definitely plants the skis on the snow. You won't be disappointed with your KMOD. Great product and service.
