for those still wanting to part with abit of coin here is the paypal of AKSNOWRIDERS buddy who bravely came forward to help without AK knowing a thing.

Warm thoughts and prayers for a great recovery for Mike as well equally appreciated..

A part of me knows it's not my business but a part of me also thinks it would be cool to know what we collectively did for mike. Kinda like that kick start thing for the Alaska sled movie. Was pretty cool to watch as the money was coming in. Encouraging to see people give!!

I just sent you $52 because it's your 52nd birthday:)

Ya know, by nature I'm a CPA so I'm pretty responsible/frugal/tight with my money and typically don't give much of it away.

BUT, I'd like to slowly change that and be able to feel the joy that comes with helping someone else out...

SO, here is to the beginning of being a better person, on my end that is:face-icon-small-hap

Also, FirstPlaceParts and MotorFist...I am so happy that you've jumped on board here and it makes me so extrememly happy that I've chosen to spend my hard earned money on MotorFist gear and also order other sledding things through FPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi guys, Boy, I am so overwhelmed by all this, its hard to come up with the words to express my thanks. When Tim sent the money yesterday which started me choking up, to each of the messages that he has been forwarding since, I keep breaking down all over again, First Thank you all so much, (sounds so contrite and lacking to me in context to some of the messages), I don't know how or when yet, but I plan on doing everything in my power to pay your generosity forward when I can(hopefully 110X over), and I hope I can do it with the compassion and pride that has been shown by all of you toward me. I have a long road in front of me, Docs say once I get my neck fused, then 3 months later if every thing goes right they can do the shoulder. and some where in that they can hopefully do the MRI on the wrist, and fix it as well. I hold on to the idea that I am someday going to get life back, be able to work, sled, camp..well..just do the things we all love called life..
I hope the one thing I can share with everyone who ever reads this thread, You never ever know what the next minute in life holds for you, don't waste it arguing and worrying, just make sure every person you care about knows it, and enjoy life, to its fullest..... again, to each and everyone who has sent something, from MOTO FIST, FIRST PLACE PARTS, to the simplest post that says "prayers sent" I thank you from the bottom of my heart.....Mike

Hey you build some beautiful stuff, I need you to get better so I can get you to build things for me. :face-icon-small-win The reply in this whole thread that hits me the hardest is theultrarider saying "sure miss you in the mountains bud" friends like that are special, I can't think of anything that would make me happier about all of this than to see the pic of the two of you sitting on your sleds having a beer.

Yes the response from vendors has my dollars targeted as well after seeing there generosity...awesome..

trackvs2wheels..52 birthday gimmick was very nice idea

Keep your head up! 22 months ago I fractured C7, T1,2,&3, left femur, and right clavicle in an accident and it was the hardest thing I've ever had to endure. But 10 months later I was able to ride again. I wish you the same luck I had. Sent ya a little Merry Christmas present via PayPal to help ease your suffering.

Take care,
Tory

Havent been on here hardly this winter, but figured I would share what I know....other drivers insurance says none of his policies cover, so we have demanded my uninsured coverage from my provider.. Doubt it will cover everything but its a start.. So I now have an Obama policy..an waiting for the docs scheduler to pen me in for the neck fusion...hopefully end of May she thinks......
