I have looked and looked and cant find a sleddin game with a freeride option. So what I wanna do is see how many people would buy a game like this and then im gonna send this thread to THQ and Rainbow (the people who make mx vs atv and games like that) What I would ask for in the game is options like freeriding (boondocking), Hillclimb comps, snocross and freestyle. Then i would also want to be able to earn money in the events to buy differnt sleds and after market parts like tracks, front ends, shocks and turbos. if you guys have any ideas type em up in here. lets see if we can get enough people to say they would buy a game like this to make it worth sending over to them. Thanks guys. *FunK*

This is a thread with a poll for who would buy the game if it was made.
Below is a link to the original thread.

I hope you are doing the poll on other forums as well. numbers is what you need.

I would like to see it have.

Sno-X
Hill-X
Hill Climb events like Jackson Hole
Extreme climbing through some nasty mtn terrain
Boon dockin
maybe even some groomed trails
Race sleds
mod mtn sleds
2 strokes and 4 strokes
Maybe start with stock sleds and work your way up to full on turbo's with hells of hp.
MX bikes with track kits
ATV's with track kits
snow hawks.

Man there it tons of way they could make this a killer game.

Plus online play!

Im sure there is more. what else should it have, since we are all dreaming here.

Throw some freestyle in there and the ability to pick favorite riders.

Yeah, I'd buy it. Sledstorm is getting old! and so is the PS1

Be able to make your own rider.

real sleds

and real aftermarket companies and mods

Just as an FYI, I actually work as a video game programmer. I've been doing it for just under 15 years now. Currently working for a division of Walt Disney in SLC. We just completed Cronicals of Narnia, Prince Caspian for the Nintendo DS. I've worked on alot of systems in the past.

A snowmobiling game could be cool. Depending on scope it would take minimum $800k to do a simple version, on upwards of $5million for a fancy version with alot of content. Some of the monster titles out there like the Halo's and WoW developed on $50,000,000 budgets or more. Its a pretty unique and interesting industry to say the least LOL

Yikes... so umm... everybody pitch in 10 bucks k?

Seriously though, i don't know if we have the market to support an "MX vs. ATV" style sledding game.. but i sure hope they make one! I must have 1200 hours logged on my XBOX THQ 450. lol

DallanC,

I assume you have some contacts in the industry? Any chance you could ask around for us?

that would be so sick to have a game like that, climbin, nasty chutes, boon docking, freestyle, get to pick ur area location like revy, golen and stuff, mod sleds out, pick ur sled model, would be a cool game forsure

I think it would be cool if you could choose snow conditions like Deep Powder
and add jumps in the backcountry

Tried this before myself. Talked to the company that made ATV Offroad Fury. Here's what I was told.

Pretty much "not gonna happen but thanks so much for your money, sincerely; video game dude."
If you get it to happen tell who ever gives it the go ahead, I'll buy 1.

I've got one for my old XBOX but its just circuit racing and the graphics are pretty old. I love MX vs ATV and if a sled game had even some of the same features I'd be all over it.
