Yes with a tunner they usually hold the injectors open longer which will kill fuel pressure even faster. You will see a bigger gain with the spring on trucks with chips and injectors. :beer;

I also just built new up pipes. If you have a EGR delete kit with a block off this new pipe will give you a stait pipe instead and get rid of the EGR scoop. This will increase spool time and lower EGT's. They are $125.00

Im planning on doing the EGR delete once my warranty is up which is at the end of this year, and i plan on putting a aftermarket exhaust and intake on it but what is this pipe you sell do or what not im interested in this very much.

Really it was just changed by the dealer about a year ago i guess i better get on that egr delete kit i guess
Well that just a guess do you idle it alot....those trucks need to almost be abused to keep; the egr and variable vane turbo working well. Babying them and idling kills the 6.0.

Also the head gaskets go alot from strectching stock head bolts.....need ARP studs if you have many mods.

Good trucks once the ARP headstuds and EGR delete is installed.

05 and newer 6.0's have the scoop in the up-pipe and you shouldn't run the block off plate with this combo. Straight pipe is the only way to go.

I have a 04 with no scoop so I have a block off plate. Yep, I'm cheap!:D

School me on the 06.
Bone stock 6.0, just had the fuel pump replaced under warranty, will an egr delete help with the reliability of this motor?
I read pages and pages about the head gasket, is this something to worry about with a stocker?

Yes a EGR delet kit is a must. We have them avaiable also. The up pipes go from your exhaust manifold up to the turbo. Their is one that has a flex joint that always breaks. Then like sated above the 05 trucks have a scoop that really restricts the exhaust big time. The new pipes are all 2 inch stainless with no flex joint.

This is a good truck you just have to spend a couple grand more then what you paid and fix the known issues. Then it will run like a champ....International uses them in there medium duty truck section.

put mine in today on my 2000 7.3 went in easy and I can really feel the diffrence,really worth 25 bucks

Seems like it helps me at WOT since I think iwas starving for fuel with all my mods. Cant say as I feel it alot down low....but I have huge billet lock up TQ converter so my truck is point and go off the line anyway..seems good so far.

I want to get this spring for my 7.3 and on the web page theres nowhere to order from.I want to use a credit card so if you could get back to me and let me know what i need to do. -Reeff-
