I just picked up my girlfriend an 05 M6 153". Showroom condition, around 500miles. Hopefully it turns out to be a great little sled for her to learn on.:face-icon-small-hap

I'm going to swap out the track to a powerclaw do a float conversion in the rear and throw some snow eliminators on it.

I was wondering if their is anything else that anyone would suggest on this sled? Any reflashes or anything that I should be aware of?

Thanks!

for sure drop the pos attack, the pc is 10x better.
for now, i would just do the (free) geo mod to the rear skid
snow eliminators are great, but the no snows are way better.
just my 2 cents

me and a friend just bought a pair of 05 M6 153's as well. the geo mod is that the front arm of rear suspension bracket you are talking about?

anymore imput on what to do with these sleds besides ditching the attack track?

2010/2011 seat - wouldn't think 3 1/2 inches makes that big of a difference but it does. One of my favorite mods so far, hands down. Worth every penny. Freeagent on here can hook you up.

Ya that slipped my mind, I got FreeAgent to hook me up with one for my 09. The seat is great and the storage is even better:face-icon-small-win

I would do a riser if she is over 5'4". The snow eliminators will make you stand a bit taller and when I put them on I had to go to a 2" riser. Remember though going too tall gives you a lot of leverage, it also means the sled has a lot of leverage on you. It also puts all the stress on your shoulders, not something gals are really built for.

Love the 2010 seat.

I don't know anything about the geo mod, though there are a lot of threads out there on it.

Don't think there were any reflashes or anything for the m6's. Maybe a can to lose some weight, other then that I would ride it and smile. :face-icon-small-hap

snosumitcsr- a set of snow eliminators of some sort, different track, riser, 2010 seat, a can and you are set to go. Those m6's will run forever.

good point. the geo mod on that skid is where you drill the rails like 1.5-2"
further back where the torsion spring connects w/ the collar on the rail.
in order for it to work as well as it can, you will also need to buy the front torque arm relocation brackets as stated above. fyi, a while back holz racing was blowing them out for like $25.lots of others make them as well.

as stated a two wheel kit should help make it a little easier to pull over, and i for one am all for them, but would recommend carrying an extra wheel w/ you
so if you seize a bearing, your day wont come to an end. other than that the sled really doesn't need much, it wont win any races but will get on top of the snow and even lay a respectable mark on a hill that other 600's and even some 700's will have a tough time matching. good little sled:face-icon-small-hap

also make sure you have the updates done diamond drive bolt fix the steering bracket fix and the speedo sensor on the dd was known for going out ive got 2 one for the wife one for the kid ie backup to the turbo they are a great sled and the kids has over 6k on it
