That is kind of the point with the P 22 and the roller bearing. The belt deflection is always as tight as it can be, thus removing the need to manually set your belt deflection.The problem is that you have no way to set belt deflection on the machines with the P 22 as the secondary has no way to set it!, Just the way that I see it,

No, your belt will still wear out and eventually need to be replaced. With the P 22, your belt will always be tight against the roller bearing in the primary and your belt will come to rest, tightly, in the secondary. You do not need to set the position at which the belt will be at in the secondary like you did on the old style clutch as the belt wore down/stretched/broke in.So, your belt never wears?
Is the P22 a good one?, I have not heard anything bad about it in general. I personally have been so happy with clutches on the 800-850s, it has never been any belt issue and easy to tune. Question is if its a fix of something that is not broken??
