98 mm 600 has bad bog

i ride a 98 mountain max 600 twin. the sled has a really bad bog when i am accelerating from a stop and when i have been on the trail for a while. ill pin it and it will take a few seconds to react. sombody please help. i have a bender racing can and my clutch engages at around 2600 rpm

Have a 500 vmax that was the same way!!!

The drive belt was too narrow and worn out on my sons vmax 500, replaced with a new belt and it was like I unloaded a non running artic cat off the back!!!
