900 rmk vs 03 800 edge rmk

Nice video, where was that filmed at and with what type of camera? It also show something else, you are barely running the engine and the 900 is just floating right through the powder. Torque is the best part on the 900.:face-icon-small-hap

Very observant on that! That is one of the things that I LOVE about this machine... on my old 800 I was pretty much pinned all the time to have any fun, this machine has so much more torque and flotation it is just silly:D I think I only hit WOT about 6 times in that vid for just a fraction of a second each time.

The Camera is the Go Pro HD 960 set to record on 720p mode..... I really like it.

Riding was on Pinegrass Ridge, White Pass, Central Washington Cascades in about 10 inches of fresh snow on a soft base... just about perfect for playing with this type of snow... though deeper is always welcome;):D:beer;

I have several more vids... helmet cam from this year and regular video from last year on Youtube... just look for me there - 94fordguy

Find yourself a nice big open area and spend about a half hour turning the skis and throttling the sled and seeing what it does. You don't always countersteer and it doesn't take much to keep the sled on it's side as you can see in the video, but turning and pinning it can make the IQ chassis whip right around fast once you figure out the handling. In turns so easy that it is very easy to tip it all the way over in a turn if you are not careful.
I just need some more time on the machine. Ive only done 3 rides so far this season.. :(

What the heck.... I'll post another one just for fun....:face-icon-small-hap

Some climbing-sidehilling in about a foot of fresh with a soft base - not super fluffy, the wetter cascade snow we often get.

I pulled a max of 48 mph track speed on one of the runs... pretty dang happy with that for the big monster 166 track:D Motor is stock, F&I intake and stock pipe with an 05 SLP can, 18/39 gearing.
