900 getting pulled out

Allright i spent like 10 frigen hours cleaning this bad boy, found out that i have a newer cylinder says 06 on the side and looks cleaner, the other cylinder says 04 and looks older. also my clutch is newer febuary 26? 2006 is there a way to check if i have the updated crank without takin the cases apart? also ill post pics of the "clean" engine as clean as i could get the bottom end without taking it apart.

Well i havnt replied to this in a long time, mostly cause i havnt had time to work on it. I finaly got my 1500$ worth of parts about 2 weeks ago and ive been real busy with final projects for school. So me and my dad got the pistons on yesterday, is there a tool to put the c-clips on? cause man did we ever have a hard time. hopefully by next week i should have this thing up and running. i got some pics of it, thats as clean as i could get it, that oil is a real pain to get off.

k nvm about the pic i found one. Got the cylinders on reeds and intake boots in, oil pump on. no one wants to comment on here? seems like im talking to myself.

alright well my engine is ready to put in, got my mounts on, replaced rear mounts. also i had to replace the hose that goes from the coolant bottle to the front rad, so i just removed the rad super easy, so now i wont have a 10 pound block of ice that stays stuck in front there lol. :D

For us mountain riders that front rad wasn't neccessary for cooling as long as you run scratchers. BTW the scratchers were needed for cooling regardless if you had that front rad in or not. ( I still don't know why they had it in there)
Let us know how it runs once you have a few miles on it.

allright will do, i dont run on trails often im always in snow and the front would fill with snow then melt and freeze to ice, so there is no flow going to that rad. making it usless, but besides that ive never had problems with cooling, even with +15 degree celcius riding in my t shirt while people are going by on motorcycles LOL. yea last year april 27th still lots of snow but super hot.
