900 board & track questions

Hey there im new to the 900 and was wondering if i could put a set of skinz protective gear running boards. but noticed the rear cooler and the lines that go from the front of the sled along the running boards to the rear. what is the cooler for and is it needed? also wondering if i could put a 159" track under a 151" tunnel and what is all needed for the conversion?

to run those boards you would need to swap the cooler to a different one that has conections up in front of the gas tank and reroute the cooling lines.

144 and 151 are same tunnel, 159 and 166 are same tunnel and it is longer. 159 will hit the flap on the shorter tunnel without an extension. VanAmburg makes a tunnel extension bumper for a dragon that can be modified to work on the 900 pretty easily.
