9-11-01

i was sitting in a math class taking a test in 7th grade when our teacher came back in the room and told us to forget the test we were watching the tv. none of us knew what was going on but i cant tell you how many people were pissed off that day. didnt do anything that day in school except watch the tv.

Living in Penticton watched the plane hit in real time as I was talkin to my buddy in Houston ...

I still remember how ery it was w no chem trails in the sky those couple of days ....

then they grounded a wack of planes up in whitehorse ...of all places

when all the bickering goes on daily around here it sure puts things into perspective
RIP to all the heros and civilians

I work for Boeing, in the same factory that those two planes were built.
I was inside an Airplane working on the interior when a woman, who was listening to her radio towards the front of the airplane came running back, crying towards me and asked me to turn the station on my boom box so that everybody could listen.
No more work was done that day and everybody wanted to go home.
The company would not let us leave unless we wanted to use sick leave although they decided to shut down operations at the headquarters in Chicago for fear a plane might hit there.

I remember looking at the 777 I was working on as though it too might become another weapon for some future attack.

I work with a lot of middle Eastern customers from airlines in Saudi, Pakistan, Kuwait and a few others and although I know that I should not stereotype them. I have a hard time not feeling differently about them all these days.

Say what you want about Bush, I say many of the same things but the militant whack-jobs have not hit us on our own soil since that day on 9-11

Bless our military and our firemen, policemen and all the volunteers who give everyday to maintain our freedoms and safety.

Bless every American and believer in freedom and democracy for we were all injured in some way that day.

I will Never Forget.

I don't think that anyone will forget where they were on September 11th, 2001. I remember that I was 16 years old. I walked to school as we lived a block away, and it was a very nice and sunny morning. I walked into class to see the towers on fire. I couldn't believe what was happening. I remember all of the unanswered questions that everyone had. A very unjust feeling.

We will never forget!
