800 Won't Idle Down

I have an 03 RMK 800 159. Seems to me that whenever I come to a stop the RPM's wont drop down to proper idle, I kinda have to burp the throttle a bit for it to drop down. I've cleaned the carbs on it but I'm sure it has to be something to do with them so just wondering what I missed in there that maybe I should double check.

I agree on the lean condition, try adjusting your fuel screw this will be on the front side of the carb and will be a white plastic knob/screw sticking out. To richen up turn the screw out. I would start buy turning out a 1/4-1/2 turns at a time.

Just FYI
Carburetor tunning

Air screw is located on back side of carb (small screw)
If turned in will richen the mixture this is a Coarse adjustment

Fuel screw is located in front side of carb (white plastic screw)
if turned in will lean the mixture this is a Fine adjustment

While do agree with the otheres be sure and check the cables the oils cable will fray 1 strand and get hung up some times just a thought

Thanks guys! I'll play around with it this weekend when I get back home from college and see what happens. I'll make sure to look at that cable also. Hopefully somethin will take care of it!

In addition to the above suggestions

Check / reset your T.P.S. to 4.0-4.1 volts at W.O.T.
