14 over and pulling a trailer. And you thought you would be let off? And then to call them all pricks? Maybe he was a fellow sledder but that doesn't mean he shouldn't do his job.
i've had a few cops pull me over and start chattin all buddy buddy about my truck and what not then turn around and give me the biggest ticket they can. from my experiences here in northern utah ive learned that most the time if the cop acts all friendly you get a ticket, but if they come up and act like a prick they tend to let you off more.

Because he talked to you and then gave you a ticket he is a prick? Yes, state cops have to hand out tickets....it wouldn't have mattered what he had done, he would have still been a prick because he was simply a cop right? Well I guess if he hadn't done his job and let you off we probably wouldn't see a post on here by you.
Our troopers here target speeders that are going 15 or more over...and I commend em for it.
I don't know how many times I have cleaned up messes by a-holes that think they can fly because they are in a huge 4X4. When I say messes...that means dead people. No I am not a trooper, but I have worked LE for a long time. I hate the badge heavy prick cop just as much as everyone...but when you come across a decent one....even if he gives you a ticket....give a little respect. They are out there doing a thankless job, most of the time getting undesirables away from your family.

Ya, ya ya...you always hear about the prick cops that give tickets for one mph over the posted speed limit. I frankly don't believe it. The judge would throw it out so fast and the officer would get into so much trouble, I can't believe it.

Come on. You were flyin and got a ticket from a guy that was being decent to you. 89 in a 75. You deserved it.
He is doing his job, he didn't write the laws, But you broke them. Would you feel better if he was a prick to you? Or did you get your hopes up that this guy is ok and is only going to give you a warning? And then, the prick did his job.

Way to take responsibility for your own actions you ignorant moron.Ok heres on for ya.... the other day I was driving down the same road that I have been driving down every day for the past few years. For the past year or so a 1/4 mile stretch has been under construction and the speed limit was changed from 45 to 25. The construction is now over and the speed has been marked back up to 45. Anyways, as im driving though the old contruction site i get pulled over by a stater. He told me that I was going 44 in a 25 and gave me a written warning. After he let me go i turned my pickup around and went back to make sure the sign said 45 and sure enough it did! As i drove back by where i was pulled over, the cop had another person pulled over.
