I'm looking to wrap my engine this year and was curious if you did it last season and what did you use?

If your talking engine blankets I just happen to make insulated ones for the big Berg.

I made my own blanket from a blue plastic roll up sled
also made a piece for behind the eng and 2 rad block offs with it
never put one on the exh side. worked great that way
even bought the crazy big plastic skid plate that came up very high
I have a ktm i'm building now and would sell all of that if you want.
the air box i pulled the breather hose out of the bottom of the box ran it out of the way
it worked very good . used it in maine last year in some very good and cold conditions

Reviving this thread - I'm in NH and have a FE570 I put a timbersled kit on last year. Ran it stock no issues even in deep powder but I think I just got lucky.

Also I ran a filterskin over a non-oiled funnelweb filter last year and did have some water in my airbox - maybe this was part of your issue as well? What are you doing for air filter?

Good to know - I have a custom blanket coming from Revv Up, but love the idea of a roll up sled for rad block offs.

So you left the stock airbox and disconnected the crank breather hose? you put a small pod-filter on it?
