I have a 13 assault with a boondocker turbo. My track was ratcheting really bad no matter how tight I had it with the stock drivers. I installed 7 tooth extraverts and a new track. I didn't realize you have to modify the chaincase and took it out for a ride and noticed that I wasn't getting rpm. Looked and saw the track was rubbing the chaincase. Noticed it right out of the truck so I had very little damage. Has anyone modified their chaincase and have pictures? Is there any workarounds for this?

Figured it out
I figured out that when I first put it on there was no problem. I thought the track was too loose so I tightened it up. Then it rubbed on the chaincase.
Talked to a local expert and he said to loosen it up till it ratchets.
Loosened the track an no more rubbing.
Just loosen the track and the problem goes away! No mods needed.
I will post some photos.

Oh sorry I meant loosenyour track till it ratchets. Then tighten it just enough so it doesn't retchet.
I should mention I am running an easy ride suspension Z-Broz shocks also.
May not work with stock skid.
Here is a photo handy work or on the job training.
turbonium... Loose tracks loose performance... and not because they may ratchet.
Besides... the rub spot is still there...you are just allowing it to "balloon" out, decreasing lug tip clearance, so that it does not rub...some of the time.
Brand of skid does not influence this dimension.
Your local expert may be leading you awry.

I gotta agree with MH on this one. Especially since it looks like you are running screws in your track. I'd be very worried about running it loose, ballooning out and contacting something.
