7 stolen sleds from Revelstoke

passing this request on from a friend who phoned me today to tell me the police called him that they found his truck and trailer abandoned west of town. He had the whole rig stolen, truck, trailer and 7 sleds. The following is the list I was given

2 -06 Summit 800 Blue in colour
1 -07 Summot 800 grey in colour
1- FST Polaris with a big wheel kit
1 - Yamaha Phaser
1 - ski-doo (still checking inventory for make and model)
1 - vintage sled might be an Elan or Skiroule (again checking inventory)

As I get new info I will update the last 2 sleds

Any information would be appreciated and can be forwarded to the Revelstoke RCMP

btw, where do all these sleds end up? Too risky to take them to the US. They must be parted out but you just don't see that many ads for smokin deals on parts. With the hundreds of sleds that are stolen over the years, where are they going?

You ever see the size of the snowmobile parts section on eBay? Wouldn't take much to part one out and put the parts on there. Nobody ever checks that sort of stuff.

there just getting warmed up for all the US riders that are coming up in there this winter, its only going to get worse

yes, Slims sleds, and yes a Ford. Truck found, but no sleds of course.

Wow...that really sucks! That is a lot of equipment to lose. Makes me question if a trip to Revy is worth it. This crap happens over and over each year.

Is this a Revy thing cause is seems like there is always a thread about sleds getting stolen from there. Greenies sabatogeing trucks and stealing stuff. Crack head greenies? Its kind of turned me off of ever going to Revy. Somebody please tell me its not that bad up there!
