670x stator output???

hey guys i got a 99 670x...seems to be going through alot of plugs...seems to be a problem only when i run the hand warmers on high..hand warmers off i don't seem to have any troubles..just wondering if low stator output could cause this and before i spend the $350.00 how does a guy test the output??? :beer;
